- Emergency colony “Na Kopečku”
Na Kopečku
On 6 May 1945, artillery positions of the KG Wallenstein units were established in the Na Kopečku provisional settlement, where the eponymous restaurant currently stands at 1021/19 Pehlřimovská Street, southeast of the Budějovická metro station.
The units shelled the insurgents’ positions and civilian houses in Pankrác, Nusle, Michle, and Vinohrady from there. The SS used several inhabitants of the provisional settlement as human shields against insurgent attacks.
